Censorship Policy

The Board recognizes that many books are controversial and may offend some patrons, however selection will be based solely on the merit of the book and not on any anticipated approval or disapproval. Books and materials selected are available to any library patron, regardless of age. The Board believes in the freedom of individuals and the right and obligation of parents and legal guardians to develop, interpret and enforce their own code of values upon their own household.
